I was born in Haiti. When I was 11 years old, I moved to Florida and did not return home for 20 years. When I returned to Haiti, 20 years later, I experienced an unexplainable feeling. When I landed, I knew I was home. Never in all my years have I ever felt like I was somewhere I belonged. This was it. I was home. I want to build a brand that represents the style and culture of Haiti. For my people to be proud while wearing the Kreyol brand. To inspire one to be great just like our ancestors. When I think of the word "Kreyol" I think of unique, extraordinary, creative, and innovative. I want this product to be for people. To remind them that "L'Union Faix La Force".
